Partnership with the British Council
We work with mostly rural communities and target underprivileged and underserved women and girls. We have been lucky to be funded by the British Council Wales' Go Digital Fund for the last 3 years on a writing project for young women in Wales and Zimbabwe. To do this, Godess Bvukutwa
of Mambakwedza Women's Center collaborated with Cardiff Met University's Dr Christina Thatcher and Dr Kate North. Under this project we have trained young women bewtwen 18 and 24 years to write as way of empowering them through giving them a voice. We have published two ebooks composed of the work of many young women from Wales and Zimbabwe. Please find the links to our ebooks here;
